Nikki Groenemans was on the Dutch women's national team in the 2022 European Women's Championship; either she or Zoë Lageweg was the team's youngest player. She debuted against France, starting at second base and batting sixth. She struck out against Camille Foucher her first time up. After going 0-for-3, she was replaced by Floor Wessels. She was 0-for-1 with two walks and two runs versus Great Britain. She also pitched once, against Czechia. She relieved Ciska Welboren with a 10-9 deficit in the 5th, the bases loaded and two outs. She allowed a two-run single to Kateřina Popelková, walked Petra Kolkusová and plunked Tereza Šustrová to make it 13-9. Anouk Vergunst succeeded her. [1]
