Muhammad Majeed was the center fielder for the Pakistani national team in the 2019 Asian Championship and their top hitter (.571/.563/.875, 3 R in 4 G). He had half their four hits in their opening loss to the Philippines national team, drove in Muhammad Hussain with their only run against South Korea, had two more hits against China and drove in Hussain again with their only run versus Sri Lanka. He had 9 putouts, one assist and one error. He tied Juan Lozano, Chun-Kai Liao, Chen-Yu Yang, Jin Yang and Shohei Morishita for 4th in the event in hits (8), tied Morishita for 2nd in average (.044 behind Liao), tied Jae-gyeong Park for 7th in OBP and was 8th in slugging (between Wei-Chih Chen and Jennald Pareja).
