Biographical Information

Mitsuru Enjouji was an umpire in the Japanese Professional Baseball League from 1946-1949 and the Central League from 1950-1967. He worked the 1953 Japan Series, 1954 Japan Series, 1955 NPB All-Star Games, 1955 Japan Series, 1956 NPB All-Star Games, 1956 Japan Series, 1957 Japan Series, 1958 Japan Series, 1959 NPB All-Star Games, 1959 Japan Series, 1961 Japan Series (in which he made a controversial call), 1963 NPB All-Star Games and 1964 NPB All-Star Games.
