He led the Division de Honor in average (.004 ahead of Angulo), was third in slugging (after Montiel and Jesús Golindano), was 4th in OBP (between Angulo and Juan Salazar), tied for second in hits (58, even with Angulo and one behind Adolfo Gonzalez), was 5th in RBI, tied for second with 13 doubles (one behind Montiel) and finished 4th in total bases (80).

Marianucci played for the Spanish national team in the 2012 European Championship. He did very well in a backup role, going 5 for 11 with a double, run and two RBI, as Spain won the Bronze Medal. He came up empty against Nick Pugliese, pinch-hitting with a 4-3 deficit in the 9th, a man on third and two out against Italy. He came up as a pinch-hitter for Leo Hernández in the bottom of the 10th with a 5-5 tie and the bases loaded against the Czech national team; he was hit by a Martin Schneider pitch to force in the winning run.
