Biographical Information[edit]
Kasthuri Mudali Anuradha has played for the Sri Lankan national team.
In the 2017 Asian Championship, Sri Lanka's first Asian Championship, he was 0 for 11 with five walks, fielding .909. [1] Sri Lanka then sent a baseball team to the Asian Games for the first time, in the 2018 Asian Games. He replaced Saliya Wijesinghe in right in their opening win over Laos, going 1 for 3 with a hit-by-pitch, steal, double and two runs; his double came off Phithak Hopkhop. [2] The next day, he started in right against Thailand but went 0 for 3 with a whiff against Kevin Kawin Irwin before Wijesinghe took over. [3]
The Ragama native was Sri Lanka's starting first baseman in the 2019 Asian Championship, going 2 for 10 with a run, two walks and a hit-by-pitch, fielding .939. He also pitched in relief against Taiwan and was roughed up (6 R, 2 BB, 7 R, 5 ER in 2 1/3 IP). He tied Mark Manaig for 4th in the event in putouts (29) and tied Juan Alvaro Macasaet and Dilshan Jayasinghe for third in errors (2). He also tied Rizwan Ali and Sugath De Silva for 8th in earned runs (7). [4]
Off the field, he has been a sub inspector of police. [5]
