Biographical Information[edit]

Isaac Silva pitched in the minors and for the Dominican national team.

Silva was originally signed by the St. Louis Cardinals. He was 3-1 with a 2.59 ERA for the 2012 DSL Cardinals. He and Frederis Parra teamed on a no-hitter of the DSL Indians. He struggled in the US with the 2013 GCL Cardinals at 1-4, 5.51 then was 0-1 with a 7.71 ERA and 18 walks in 11 2/3 IP for the 2014 Johnson City Cardinals. Moving to the Milwaukee Brewers system, he was 0-4 with a 13.11 ERA for the DSL Brewers with 17 walks in 11 2/3 IP.

He did not play in 2016-2017. He got a chance when the Baltimore Orioles signed him. In 2018, he was 1-1 with a 6.59 ERA for the Frederick Keys. He was 0-2 with a 5.91 ERA for the 2018-2019 Águilas del Zulia. In the 2022 Bolivarian Games, he pitched one game for the Gold Medal winners. He relieved Omarlyn Luna in the 6th with a 6-0 lead against Peru. He struck out Roberto Huisa, walked Gabriel Hernández, gave up a Giancarlo Kanashiro single then retired Joaquin Velez. Susumu Yoza singled to end the shutout, then Mario Garmán relieved. [1]
