Biographical Information[edit]
Omarly Luna was on the Dominican national team that won Gold in the 2022 Bolivarian Games. He made one start, versus Peru and set the tone early, striking out Giancarlo Kanashiro and Joaquin Velez to open it. He retired his first 13 before Yun Contreras singled. That would be the only baserunner he allowed in five innings, striking out 9 of 16 batters he faced. Isaac Silva took over in the 6th as Luna got the win over Peru and Edgar Paredes. [1]
