Halifax is the provincial capital and largest city in Nova Scotia, Canada. It is an important port on an inlet of the Atlantic Ocean on the province's southern shore, 140 miles east of Digby, NS.
With a population of 390,328, metro Halifax is the largest metropolitan area in Canada or the USA to never have hosted a professional baseball team.
