Biographical Information[edit]
Shorty Dee played one game in the majors. Much of his minor league career was spent playing for Lowell.
"The St. Louis Club has tried out short stop Maurice F. Dee. of the Lowell Club, of the New England League. 'Shorty' Dee went from Lynn to Lowell and is about 24. He plays shortstop and third base and was a member of the Lowell champion team of 1913 under the late Manager Gray. Under Manager Kelchner, of the Lowell team Dee greatly improved in batting and fielding this year." - from Sporting Life, October 23, 1915 issue
