Biographical Information[edit]

Frank Campos played in the minors league and the CPBL.

Campos began his professional career with the Chicago Cubs, and he was 0-3 with a 4.76 ERA for the Wytheville Cubs in 1987. He went 9-13 with a 4.86 ERA for the Charleston Wheelers in 1988, then he was 2-11 with a 3.35 ERA in 1989. Campos pitched one game for the Peoria Chiefs in 1990, then he was traded to the Chicago White Sox for Bill Long. Campos had a 3.00 ERA in 19 games for the Utica Blue Sox, but he struggled with the South Bend White Sox as his ERA was 8.59 in 12 games.

In 1991, Campos stayed in South Bend and he improved to 7-9 with a 4.28 ERA. He then went 1-2 with a 1.80 ERA for the Sarasota White Sox in 1992, but his ERA rose to 5.37 with a 5-3 record for the Birmingham Barons. Campos then improved to 2-4 with a 3.05 ERA for the Barons in 1993, and he was 7-5 with a 3.55 ERA for the Nashville Sounds. He only pitched 2 games in Birmingham in 1994, and he also had a 0.69 ERA in 11 games for the GCL White Sox and a 1.37 ERA in 11 games for the Prince William Cannons. The Brother Elephants then signed him in 1995, but Campos allowed 4 walks in 2/3 of an inning, and his professional career ended.
