In the 2016 U-23 Baseball World Cup, he was 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA, losing to Japan's Daiki Aoyama. [1] He made it to the senior national team at the 2022 South American Championship. In the last game of the round-robin, a match-up of unbeaten teams, he squared off with Brazil's Pedro Nakashima. He got the win, allowing nine hits, two walks and three runs (two earned) in 5 1/3 IP before Carlos Gimenez relieved. He struck out three (Lucas da Silva twice and Salomon Koba). [2]

He made two appearances in the 2022 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers, tying Eric Ma, José Mendoza and Kevin Riello for the team lead. In Argentina's first World Baseball Classic qualifier game, he saved Lucas Ramón's win over Pakistan. He only faced one batter, relieving Diego Echeverría in the 9th with a 7-4 lead, men on the corners and two outs. He retired Alex Khan on a fly to end it. His other outing came against Nicaragua. Replacing Mendoza in the 6th, he entered with a 4-4 tie, one on and one out. He allowed a run-scoring single to Sandy Bermudez, who was out trying to stretch it out. Norlando Valle singled and Luis Montealto pinch-ran but was caught stealing. In the 7th, Argentina tied it at five. He hit Brandon Leytón in the bottom of the inning. Isaac Benard popped up a bunt. After a wild pitch, Cheslor Cuthbert singled and Elmer Reyes popped out. Dwight Britton singled in the winning run then Riello relieved. He took the loss to Berman Espinoza. [3]
