Biographical Information[edit]
Lucas da Silva has played for the Brazilian national team.
Da Silva debuted with Brazil in the 2022 South American Championship as a teenager. He was their youngest position player and second-youngest player (older than Kawan de Araújo). Backing up former Mariners farmhand Pedro Okuda at third base, he singled off Bolivia's Luis Rico his first at-bat and scored later that inning on a Salomon Koba sacrifice fly. He finished the event 3-for-8 with two times hit by pitch, a steal and three runs for the champs while handling five chances error-free at the hot corner. [1]
