Alex Khan has played for the Pakistani national team alongside his brother Sami Khan. [1]
Khan hit .334 as a high school senior. [2] He was 3 for 36 with three walks, two runs and three RBI as a college freshman. The Pakistani national team loaded up on Americans and Canadians of Pakistani descent for the 2022 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers and Khan made the squad. Starting at third in their opener versus Argentina, batting third. He singled off Lucas Ramón his first at-bat but was 0 for 3 the rest of the day and made three errors, leading to a couple runs. Batting fifth and manning third the next game against Nicaragua, he was 2 for 3 with hits off Rodney Theophile and Roniel Raudes for half of Pakistan's hits on the game. He tied Iyad Ansari for the team lead in hits. [3]
