Biographical Information[edit]
Sami Khan has been on the Pakistani national team.
Khan was 2 for 7 with a walk, two runs and a RBI at Potomac State in 2020-2021. [1] He was one of several Pakistani-Americans to start for Pakistan in the 2022 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers. His brother Alex Khan was a teammate. [2] He hit 5th and played center in their opener. In his first at-bat, against Argentina's Lucas Ramón, he flew out; it wound up to be a double play when Iyad Ansari was thrown out trying to score. He finished the event 0-for-6. It was not his team's worst performance as Shan Sundu was 0 for 8. [3]
