Biographical Information[edit]

Felipe Hernandez played 10 years in the Mexican League, hitting .295/~.368/.388 from 1949-1961. The corner infielder batted .384 in 1955 to fall one point shy of the league lead in batting average; the winner was Leo Rodriguez, who was born in the same town as him. He later managed for parts of four decades.
