The Orizaba Cerveceros were the first minor league team from Orizaba, Veracruz. They finished last in the 1966 Mexican Southeast League in both record (a pitiful 33-77) and attendance (18,070, less than half any other team). They scored 429 runs and allowed 653, when no other team gave up more than 475. They had 189 errors in 112 games. Their top performer was 3B Hector Sanudo, who hit .316/.432/.529
