The DSL Dodgers 2 (also called DSL Dodgers Shoemaker and DSL Dodgers Mota), along with the DSL Dodgers 1 (also called DSL Dodgers Bautista), have been one of two Los Angeles Dodgers affiliates in the Dominican Summer League several years, replacing the DSL Dodgers.

The 1993 championship team was actually a co-op team with California Angels farmhands.
