Biographical Information[edit]

Antonio Bautista has been a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers Dominican staff for many years. He managed both the DSL Dodgers 1 and DSL Dodgers 2 to successful seasons in the early 1990s. In early 1998, he was lent out by Los Angeles to the Sinon Bulls as pitching coach as part of a working agreement. He started the year as manager of the DSL Dodgers 1, but was replaced by Pedro Mega when Bautista left for Taiwan. He was bench coach for Sinon in 1999. He was interim manager for one game, going 0-1. He returned to the DSL Dodgers as manager, holding that role in 2006. He was Field Coordinator for the Dodgers' Dominican Academy at Campo Las Palmas in 2008-2013. He was hitting coach for the DSL Dodgers 2 in 2016 and infield coach for the same team in 2017-2019.

From 2021-2024 Bautista was a Senior Advisor at Campo Las Palmas. He was also listed as a coach for the DSL Dodgers 1 at the end of the 2024 season.
