He split 1898 between the Allentown Peanuts and Cortland. In '99, he was with the Cedar Rapids Bunnies (.315, 15 SB, 29 R in 35 G) and Youngstown Little Giants. He was at .293 for the '02 Helena Senators, finishing in the Pacific Northwest League top 10 in average and hits (136). He tied Dad Clark and Lefty Houtz for the league lead in doubles, was second with 186 hits (two behind Farmer Weaver) and was in the top 10 in average. His whereabouts for 1905 are unknown.

He held the same role for part of 1907 (batting .270) and also played 42 games for the Seattle Siwashes, hitting .213 with a .252 slugging percentage. In 1908, the veteran managed the Roanoke Tigers. He was only 11 for 86 with a double for the 1909 La Crosse Outcasts, spending the rest of the year as player-manager of the Davenport Prodigals (hitting only .208/?/.243 in 109 games). He remained with Davenport in 1910, going 10 for 54 to end his playing career.

He also guided the St. Joseph Drummers in 1911 and Norfolk Tars in 1912 and 1913. From 1914 to 1924, he umpired in various minor leagues.
