Biographical Information[edit]

Chamika Yasas has played for the Sri Lankan national team.

In the 2017 Asian Championship, their first Asian Championship, he allowed three runs (one earned) in 2 1/3 IP (4 H, 1 BB). [1] At the 2018 Asian Games, Sri Lanka made their baseball debut in the Asian Games. He started their opener against Laos. He started slowly as Nalor Gniatou singled and Thatsaphone Soukhalom was plunked. Yasas balked but got Cola Phouangkeo looking. Phithak Hopkhop tripled to close it to 4-2, but Yasas recovered to fan Soua Xong and get Thongvanh Her on a grounder. Sri Lanka made it 5-2 in the top of the 2nd. In the bottom of the 2nd, Yasas struck out Peun Silouanglath but walked Long Vue and Bee Sengsoulin. Vue was picked off by catcher Nelanka Karunarathna then Sengsoulin stole and Yasas balked. After Gniatou singled to make it a two-run game, Chirath Karunarathne relieved. One inherited run scored but Sri Lanka held on for the win. [2]
