Biographical Information[edit]

Cesar Morillo played in the minor leagues and CPBL.

Morillo began his professional career with the Kansas City Royals, and he hit .270/.354/.341 in 55 games for the GCL Royals in 1990. He had a .250/.355/.326 batting line with the Eugene Emeralds in 1991, but his batting line fell to .173/.222/.208 after he advanced to the Baseball City Royals. Morillo then hit .260/.326/.346 with 3 homers in 1992, and his batting line was .281/.324/.368 in 1993. He also played 16 games for the Wilmington Blue Rocks, but he only went 9-for-55. Morillo collected 25 doubles with a .305/.364/.385 batting line for the Bakersfield Blaze in 1995, but he only hit .235/.278/.328 with the Wichita Wranglers in 1996. He then moved to the Texas Rangers in 1997, and he recorded a .264/.328/.344 batting line in 84 games for the Tulsa Drillers.

The San Francisco Giants then signed him, and Morillo 7-for-38 in Bakersfield and 2-for-19 for the Shreveport Captains. He went to Taiwan and joined the Mercuries Tigers after leaving Giants chain, and he hit .241/.359/.389 in 21 games for them. He also played for 3 teams in the Atlantic League, and he hit .286/.352/.388 for the Nashua Pride, .350/.389/.455 for the Atlantic City Surf and went 10-for-36 for the Newark Bears. Morillo recorded a .293/.341/.420 in Nework in 1999, then he signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks. He only had a .191/.191/.238 batting line for the El Paso Diablos, then he left the team and went to the Houston Astros. Morillo hit .295/.361/.381 for the Round Rock Express in 2000, but he slumped to in 2001 then his professional career ended.
