He began 2021 with the AAA Gwinnett Stripers and was 5 for 15 with a double, run and three RBI before joining Colombia for the 2020 Americas Olympic Qualifier. His first game, he was 0 for 3 against Andrew Albers and Brendan McGuigan when Colombia got no-hit by Team Canada. His other contest, he struck out and walked against Cuba's Bryan Chi and singled off Frank Abel Alvarez. He had 17 putouts between the two games and no one tried to steal. [4] Instead of returning to Gwinnett, he finished the year with Mississippi (.250/.270/.389 in 11 G) and Rome (.272/.294/.395 in 23 G).
