2008 NAIA College World Series Opening Round

From BR Bullpen

The Opening Rounds of the 2008 NAIA College World Series were broken into 14 double elimination Regional tournaments comprised of 4 or 6 teams. The winners of these 14 tournaments met in one of 7 Super Regionals. The 7 winners of these Super Regionals advanced to the 2008 NAIA College World Series along with Lewis-Clark State College and 2 of the 7 losers who were given at-large bids to the Series. In the event that Lewis Clark won its Super Regional, a third school from the Super Regionals was given an at-large bid. 2008 was last year of this format, as in 2009 the NAIA went to 9 5-team Regionals.
