The 1997 Big 12 Conference baseball tournament was held at All-Sports Stadium in Oklahoma City, OK. #4 University of Oklahoma defeated #1 Texas Tech University for the title. Outfielder Brian Shackelford was named tournament Most Outstanding Player.
