Tim Jamieson

Biographical Information[edit]

Tim Jamieson was a catcher at the University of New Orleans from 1978-1981, hitting .300 as a senior.

Jamieson was assistant coach at New Orleans from 1982-1988, including a trip to the 1984 College World Series. From 1988-1994, he was assistant coach at the University of Missouri. He became head coach at Missouri in 1995 and led them to national rankings in 1996, 2003, 2006 and 2008, including #2 nationally for part of 2008. Among the players he helped develop were Max Scherzer, Ian Kinsler and Aaron Crow. He stepped down after 22 seasons with a record of 698-565-2. He became an assistant coach at Southern Illinois University frpm 2020-2022. Jamieson moved to University of Memphis as pitching coach in 2022.
