1983 NAIA College World Series

The 1983 NAIA College World Series was held in Lubbock, TX. The ten team field was composed of eight teams that qualified for the tournament by winning their District and Area Tournaments, plus the highest ranked school that finished second in an area tournament, plus the host school. Host school Lubbock Christian College defeated Lewis-Clark State College in the championship game. It was Lewis-Clark's second straight defeat in the title game, and the second of eleven straight title game appearances. David Bulls of Lubbock Christian was named MVP.
