1978 NAIA College World Series

The 1978 NAIA College World Series was held at Phil Welch Stadium in St. Joseph, MO. The eight teams qualified for the tournament by winning their District and Area Tournaments. Emporia State University defeated Missouri Southern State College in the championship game. Kevin Mendon of Emporia State was named MVP.
