1979 Division III College World Series

The 1979 Division III College World Series was held in Marietta, OH. The four teams qualified by winning one of four Regional tournaments. Glassboro State College defeated Stanislaus State College in the championship game. 2B Tak Upshur of Glassboro was named the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament.
