1988 Division III College World Series

The 1988 Division III College World Series was the first to be held in Bristol, CT at Muzzy Field. The six teams qualified by winning one of six Regional tournaments. Ithaca College defeated University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in the championship game. P Joe Sottolano of Ithaca was named the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament. Five of the six teams in the 1988 tournament were in the 1986 Division III College World Series as well.
