Biographical Information[edit]
Russ Tiedemann was the coach at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 1968-1969 and again from 1971-1988. He took the team to the 1980 Division III College World Series, 1981 Division III College World Series, 1982 Division III College World Series, 1984 Division III College World Series, 1985 Division III College World Series, 1986 Division III College World Series, 1987 Division III College World Series and 1988 Division III College World Series, winning it all in 1985 and finishing second in 1987. He coached Dan Neumeier, Doe Boyland, Jim Gantner, Gary Varsho and Terry Jorgensen on their way to the majors.
