1947 Bolivarian Games
The 1947 Bolivarian Games were held in Lima, Peru and were the second Bolivarian Games to include baseball. Colombia won the event; they would not repeat for 26 years. Their team included Petaca Rodríguez, Pedro Miranda, Andrés Cavadía, Andrés Flórez, Carlos Bustos and Armando Crizón while Pelayo Chacón was the manager. Venezuela won Silver and Peru got Bronze, their best finish (through 2017).
