Biographical Information[edit]
Armando Crizón was an outfielder for the Colombian national team. He helped Colombia to a Gold in the 1946 Central American and Caribbean Games, their only Central American and Caribbean Games Gold (through 2017). In the 1947 Amateur World Series, he led with six steals and Colombia won the title. He was on Colombia when they won the 1947 Bolivarian Games, one of only two titles in that event in the 20th Century for their baseball squad. He played for the Indios in the Liga Colombiana de Béisbol Profesional. He got a medical degree.
