Carlos Rodríguez Araújo
Petaca Rodríguez was a top Colombian pitcher of the 1940s. When the Colombian national team made their Amateur World Series debut in 1944, he was 1-1 with a team-leading 1.50 ERA. He was 5th in the Series in ERA, between Luis Castro and Julio Bracho. He was 3-0 when Colombia won Gold in the 1946 Central American and Caribbean Games, their first Gold medal.
Rodríguez won Gold with Colombia in the 1947 Bolivarian Games as well. He also took Gold in the 1947 Amateur World Series.
