Team History[edit]
The Yuma Scorpions were a Golden Baseball League team based in Yuma, Arizona from 2005 to 2010. They moved to the North American League in 2011. They received some media attention when they appointed Jose Canseco as their manager, and his twin brother Ozzie Canseco as their bench coach.
They played at Desert Sun Stadium, the spring training ballpark and complex used by the San Diego Padres from 1969 to 1993.
