Biographical Information

Youtthasat Herpaoyang has been on the Laotian national team.

In the 2023 East Asian Baseball Cup, he allowed seven hits, two walks and nine runs (seven earned) in two innings of relief against Hong Kong but went the distance to beat Malaysia, giving up only one run (5 H, 4 BB, 9 K). He also was 0-for-2 during the Cup. He remained with them for the 2022 Asian Games (actually held in '23 after delays). He made one appearance but it was a rough one. Replacing Yayua Wa in the 5th with a 7-0 deficit, one out and a man on third, he allowed three straight doubles - to Pei Liang, Shuai Wang and YongKang Kou - then a triple to Chen Chen and a double to Jie Cao to make it 12-0. Natpakone Phialouanglath relieved as Herpaoyang had given up five extra-base hits in a row; the inherited runner would score. No one else in the Games allowed more than four runs without retiring a batter.
