Biographical Information

Shuai Wang has played in the independent leagues and for the Chinese national team.

He was one of many Chinese players sent to the Texas AirHogs in 2019; at age 17, he was the AirHogs' youngest player. He was 0-for-6 but handled 7 chances error-free behind the dish and threw out the only runner who tried to steal. He then was with China for the 2022 Asian Games, backing up Ning Li. In his debut, he replaced Li in a win over Laos and doubled off Youtthasat Herpaoyang to drive in Nan Du. His only other plate appearance, he struck out against South Korea's Hyun-seok Jang. He had one putout and allowed two steals in two tries.
