Biographical Information[edit]

Yayua Wa has been on the Laotian national team.

He went 2 for 5 with two runs and a RBI in the 2023 East Asian Baseball Cup, allowing four runs (two earned) in three innings. [1] He pitched in six of Laos's seven games in the 2022 Asian Games (held in '23 after COVID-19-related delays). His lone decision was a loss to Thailand and Phoomwut Wutthikorn. He had a 8.44 ERA for the Games and also went 0 for 5 with a RBI as a part-time right fielder. He led the Games in appearances (no one else had more than four), was second in IP (16, 4 behind Siraphop Nadee), tied Hue Thor for third in hits allowed (17), allowed the most runs (19, 3 more than Mung Chuevakham), gave up the most earned runs (15, 3 more than Chuevakham), led in walks (15, 3 more than Chuevakham and Eleazar Jie Xian Ng). Only Thor had a better ERA on th Laotian staff. [2]
