Biographical Information

Xiaolei Du has been an infielder for the Jiangsu Pegasus of the China Baseball League. Du played for the Chinese national team in the 2012 Asian Championship, 2012 Asia Series and 2013 East Asian Games. He was 3 for 14 with 3 walks, a steal and five runs in the 2014 Asian Games, fielding .917 as China's main 3B and backup 2B. Four of his runs came in a rout of Mongolia. He led China in runs by one over Yi Lu. In the 2015 Asian Championship, he split second base with Yougen Yuan and Chen Chen and was 2 for 9 with a run and a RBI, fielding .909. He also appeared in the 2015 Universiade.
