Biographical Information

Yougen Yuan debuted for the China Baseball League's Beijing Tigers in 2011. He made the Chinese national team roster for the 2015 Asian Championship. Splitting second base with Xiaolei Du, he was 1 for 6 with a run and a RBI and had one error in six chances in the field. He came up big in their win over Pakistan to determine fourth place; with the game scoreless through four, he drove in the first run in the 5th off Ihsan Ullah.
