Funny, I have done better with the stat parts of the immaculate grid than the team/team combos. I got 8 today, which is my best yet, so not quite 9. It's fun getting the rare scores - I had a .1% for Spike Owen as a Red Sox/Mariners play and .2% today for Ed Delahanty as a Phillie with 100+ RBI. Seems like the older players are more rare. The other day, I figured Babe Ruth would be an easy #1 for Yankees/Red Sox overlap but he wasn't! it would be neat to play past days' games. - Mischa (talk) 16:22, 25 July 2023 (UTC)

8 is a really good score. If you're talking about the board which had 200+ hit season and 100+ RBI season, I scored 272 that day; not my best work. (Guessed Edgar Martinez for 100+ RBI/200+ hits; whiffed horribly on 100+ RBI/Phillies by guessing Jimmie Foxx, who played for the Philadelphia ATHLETICS, not Phillies.) But yes, any time I can score less than half point in any given square is fun. And I'd also love to be able to play previous boards. It's just a super fun game! (D.C. Finally got my first 9-for-9 on today's game, with a very good rarity score of 82. PGH/BOS Jason Bay (25), PGH/CIN Gary Redus (.7), PGH/200 K Oliver Perez (4), BOS/OAK Dave Henderson (3), BOS/CIN Dave Parker (6), BOS/200 K Lefty Grove (3), ATL/BOS Steve Avery (2), ATL/CIN Denny Neagle (2), ATL/200 K Greg Maddux (36). Five of my answers were ex-Bucs, so that helped. - Mischa (talk) 17:19, 23 August 2023 (UTC)

I missed the Pirate with 200 Ks. I thought Blyleven would have done it... Jeff (talk) 19:05, 23 August 2023 (UTC)
I usually draw from former Mariners when filling out my grids, which helps me out. (I tend to use Mark Whiten a lot.) I think I tried Kris Benson for a 200+K Pirate and was wrong. I never would have come up with Redus for PIT/CIN; he's one of those guys who played for more teams that I realize. (D.C. Lundberg (talk) 01:31, 3 September 2023 (UTC))

Good to see you back, D.C.! I look forward to seeing coverage of the players passing through Spokane this summer. Philippe (talk) 00:20, 15 April 2024 (UTC)

Thank you very much! I appreciate that. (D.C. Lundberg (talk) 01:04, 15 April 2024 (UTC))
