Union Association (minor league)
The Union Association was a minor league that operated from 1911 to 1914 in the Rocky Mountains; it was a class D league. Salt Lake City and Helena were involved for the whole run. The star of the league was Frank Huelsman. In 1914 Boise and Murray disbanded July 20, and the league disbanded August 5 when Butte dropped out, but Ogden and Salt Lake City played 16 games with each other to complete their seasons. This Union Association has no connection to the 1884 Union Association.
