Talk:Union Association (minor league)
This duplicates the main Union Association page. Why have a separate one? - --Mischa 09:49, 8 October 2007 (EDT)
I think it's not a bad idea to separate the minor league UAs from the so-called major league UA. I expect whoever did this will then change de main UA page to UA (major league) and erase the extraneous information. --Philippe 12:06, 8 October 2007 (EDT)
Are there any misdirected links to the main UA page? - --Mischa 12:31, 8 October 2007 (EDT)
All the creator Ref Cameron of this page did was copy the four years that were on the main Union Association and start a new page. This was discussed months ago when I made that page up and I was advised to do it the way I did. Reason being that there was a doubt in 1884 really being a Major league. Just recently I wanted to split off the Gulf Coast League and the rookie league part because I knew that it was going to run the page very long and make it very difficult to edit. I was advised to do it the way I did as we did not split pages. If there has been a change in the page splitting policy there are several large pages that need to be put into a page size that does not overly exceed the reccommended limit. If these unknown soldiers keep coming in to this site and making these type of changes without discussion I think it is going to create a serious problem. --Dugout 12:47, 8 October 2007 (EDT)
