Biographical Information[edit]

Tyrone Pendergrass was signed as a nondrafted free agent outfielder by Braves before the 1995 season. He played six seasons with the Braves organization reaching as high as the AAA Richmond Braves in 2000. He was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 1998 Rule V draft but was returned to the Braves before the season.

Moving to the independent leagues for the last nine seasons of his career, Tyrone was a Texas-Louisiana League All-Star with the Rio Grande Valley White Wings in 2001. He played the 2002 and 2003 seasons with the Sioux Falls Canaries of the Northern League. He spent the 2004 season with the New Haven County Cutters of the Northeast League and 2005 with the El Paso Diablos of the Central League. Tyrone spent the 2006 season with the San Angelo Colts of the United Baseball League.
