Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Trey Forkerway was the all-star secondbaseman in the Southwest Conference as a senior in 1993, hitting .332 with 4 home runs and 13 steals in 193 at-bats. Forkerway played for the Thunder Bay Whiskey Jacks in 1993, hitting .279 with 3 steals in 43 at-bats. In 1994 he hit .268 with 10 steals in 269 at-bats for Thunder Bay. Forkerway played in the Chicago Cubs' chain from 1995 to 1998, topping out at the AA level for most of the last three seasons.
Forkerway was acoach for the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx in 2001-2002 and Daytona Cubs in 2003. As of 2010, Forkerway is a Cubs Area Scout for Texas. He scouted 2008 first-rounder Andrew Cashner and James Russell.
