Biographical Information

Infielder Todd Thomas was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 31st round of the 1983 amateur draft. He played in the Giants chain through 1987 reaching AAA for 26 games his final season.

Since 1988 Thomas has been a scout for the Giants, first in the Oklahoma/Missouri area, then in Texas. He has signed Dan Ortmeier, Scott Munter, Roger Kieschnick, Jackson Williams, Steve Edlefsen, Brandon Belt, Juan Perez, Stephen Johnson and Ryan Lollis for the Giants.
