Limmer's had a month and a bit. Any suggestions on who to do next? I was thinking of Martin Dihigo but I'd like to flesh it out a bit more with information from the two Cuban baseball books I have. - --Mischa 18:12, 23 August 2007 (EDT)
Dihigo is a great choice. Or Harry Stovey? He's finally getting attention now that Bonds is the new home run king. - Randy 18:16, 23 August 2007 (EDT)
Stovey's article would need to be expanded a bit I think and needs a photo. - --Mischa 18:22, 23 August 2007 (EDT)
At some point Buddy Lewis might work --Jeff 19:09, 23 August 2007 (EDT)
It was on my list, but I didn't want to do two of Auricle's WWII veterans articles in a row, aiming for more diversity. Similarly, I've been holding off on more players who made a mark in Japan like Adrian Garrett, Randy Bass or Tuffy Rhodes - --Mischa 19:19, 23 August 2007 (EDT)
Dihigo's article is almost "done". I have one more source I want to add in and it might take a bit of time (it's Figueredo's yearly review of Cuban baseball) but then we're ready to add it in I think. Of course, if my wife gives birth in the next couple days, that will delay things. The baby's already 3 days past due. - --Mischa 21:36, 28 August 2007 (EDT)--Mischa 21:36, 28 August 2007 (EDT)
Given the number of suggested edits that came up once the article was posted, how about some kind of review process for the next article? We should probably start planning for the next one now. I was thinking some year-specific article like the 1946 World Series or some other postseason or international competition. - --Mischa 12:52, 21 September 2007 (EDT)
Any suggestions for the next FA? No current candidates are in line. - --Mischa 12:54, 5 March 2012 (EST)
Any suggestions for a new feature article? The last three are ones I've worked on primarily and I'd like to see some contributors' work featured. - --Mischa (talk) 12:02, 29 July 2015 (EDT)
I'm still down for giving the excellent Roberto Clemente treatise we have its time in the sun. I've also added substantially to the Eddie Zosky article - if anyone wants to beautify it a bit, perhaps it is feature article worthy. Alex (talk) 08:00, 8 August 2015 (EDT)
The Zosky article looks good. I'll try to review it in more detail when time allows. - --Mischa (talk) 09:30, 10 August 2015 (EDT)
I made some minor edits to Zosky and set up a BR Bullpen:Featured Article Candidates/Eddie Zosky - --Mischa (talk) 16:33, 11 August 2015 (EDT)
Why won't the image work? - --Mischa (talk) 19:22, 16 August 2016 (EDT)
It seems to only work at 100px and no other resolution. I have no idea why either. --Philippe (talk) 04:49, 17 August 2016 (EDT)
Same featured article for 7 months now. I've been trying to get Dolf Luque there but still have a ways to go as I keep having to fill in long red links (ex. Eustaquio Pedroso, Bill Francis and Valentín Gonzaléz). Does anyone have any other suggestions for now? - --Mischa (talk) 16:36, 31 August 2017 (UTC)
- How about Derek Jeter or the 1919 World Series? --Philippe (talk) 17:17, 31 August 2017 (UTC)
BR Bullpen:Featured Article Candidates/Dolf Luque has two comments supporting it but we need more input - at least three support votes for it to be featured. Please comment. - --Mischa (talk) 13:30, 29 January 2018 (UTC)
We've had Leach up for a bit. It's been a while since we had a team - is something like 1969 Montréal Expos long enough? - --Mischa (talk) 13:30, 30 November 2018 (UTC)
Due for a new article. The last three features are ones I contributed heavily to, so it's probably time to focus on contributions from others. I think we're due for a more prominent player. Any thoughts? Dustin Pedroia? - Mischa (talk) 17:15, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
