Biographical Information[edit]

Suthikiat Bunnam played for the Thai national team in the 2006 Asian Games as a teenager. In the 2007 Baseball World Cup, he relieved Kamolphan Kanjanavisut in the 5th inning of a 16-0 mercy rule loss to South Korea. He walked Ji-wan Na but retired Ki-nam Park and San Song before being relieved in the 6th by Sek Sitthikaew. His next outing, he worked the 5th and 6th innings of a 26-1 mercy rule loss to Canada, replacing Nattapong Meeboonrod and allowing 13 hits and 11 runs before Krissada Heebthong came in. In a 17-3 loss to Venezuela, he worked a scoreless 6th, allowing one double and fanning one, pitching in between Wachira Tongthong and Heebthong. He and Meeboonrod tied with a 27.00 ERA as the median marks on the Thai staff. He also was with Thailand for the 2007 Asian Championship and 2007 Southeast Asian Games, winning Gold in the latter event.
