Biographical Information[edit]
Ji-wan Na is an outfielder for the KIA Tigers.
Na hit .385/.415/.436 for the South Korean national team in the 2007 Baseball World Cup; only Si-hyun Son had a higher average among the club's starting position players. He had a game-ending, game-saving catch against Australia's Michael Collins. He had also played for South Korea in the 2005 Asian Championship.
Na debuted in the Korea Baseball Organization in 2008, hitting .295/~.397/.455 for the KIA Tigers. He hit .263/.368/.474 in 2009 with 23 home runs, tying for 11th in the league in homers. He starred in the 2009 Korean Series; in game 7, he hit two homers, including the walk-off homer in the bottom of the 9th to win the Series. He was named Korean Series MVP.
