Team History[edit]
Following the 2008 season, the Oklahoma RedHawks reintroduced "City" to their name, becoming the Oklahoma City RedHawks. The club was known as the Oklahoma City 89ers from 1962-1997. The new name was short-lived however, as it was discontinued when the team switched affiliations after the 2014 season, becoming the Oklahoma City Dodgers.
