Myroslav Zhylka has pitched for the Ukrainian national team.

He worked 2/3 of an inning in the 2019 European Championship U23, issuing a walk and allowing a run. [1] In the same event two years later, he did well against usual powerhouse the Netherlands, allowing two runs in four innings in a loss to Koen Postelmans. [2] He debuted for Ukraine's senior national team that year, still as a teenager. He debuted against Croatia, relieving Andrii Kostashchuk in the 9th with two on, one out and a 8-3 deficit. He got Andrew Jones on a grounder then walked Marin Tadić and Kruno Gojković to force in a run, before retiring Jose Herrera. His other game, he relieved Andrii Boiko in the 5th with a 9-5 deficit and one on versus Germany. He walked Elias von Garßen then retired Pascal Amon, Lukas Jahn and Alex Schmidt in order. In the 6th, he walked Shawn Larry, hit Eric Brenk and gave up a Simon Gühring single to make it 10-5. Lou Helmig hit into an error and Vincent Ahrens grounded into a force at home, then von Garßen singled in a pair. Kostashchuk replaced him and allowed two of the inherited runners to score. His 18.00 ERA tied Danyil Khodakovskyi for the median mark on the Ukrainian staff. [3]
